what are my incoming and outgoing server settings?
what are my incoming and outgoing server settings? … I am having trouble sending email using Windows Mail
You can also check your yahoo email incoming(POP3) and outgoing server(IMAP) address on your yahoo mail itself so that it will be helpful to you when you will going to enter your incoming(POP3) and outgoing Address when you configure your yahoo account in outlook , please follow below steps :
Open yahoo inbox then Upper right corner, click OPTIONS then mail options and then in the left navigation pane see pop and forwarding then set up edit and pop & forwarding, then in the top sections web and pop access then click pop and settings, check out your yahoo incoming and outgoing mail server that will be used when you are going to set your mail in outlook express.
Many Thanks
Note: But don’t try to edit these settings of your yahoo mail account otherwise might be some problem will occur when you try to open your yahoo mail Account.
Or try this:
Incoming Mail Server [POP3]: pop.mail.yahoo.com with port 110
Outgoing Mail Server [SMTP] – smtp.mail.yahoo.com with port 25
I hope this will be helpful for you
Many thanks
In order to use a separate email program, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, or Thunderbird, with Yahoo Mail you need POP3. It is also needed when using any program or right clicking on a file to directly send email. It is free in the UK, AU, and NZ but in the US you must pay for Yahoo Mail Plus. It is also required when you try to transfer the mail using smtp or pop3 to another online email. When you do you can set the servers as follows:
Incoming (pop3)
US – plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com SSL 995
UK – pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk SSL 995
AU and NZ – pop.mail.yahoo.com.au SSL 995
Outgoing (smtp)
US – plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com 465 TLS
UK – smpt.mail.yahoo.co.uk SSL 465 TLS
AU and NZ – smpt.mail.yahoo.com.au SSL 465 TLS
NOTE: The same servers are used for ymail and rocketmail. Use the entire email address as the Yahoo ID.
You can also look at the program Ypops. I have no recommendation for or against.

They are the url to your mail server, assuming you're using your internet providers mail server, you need to contact them for the settings.
