Remote host said: 550 relaying denied for – AGAIN !!!? … A earlier reported error has arised again due to an error on a YAHOO server….
Does YAHOO wants us to make us select another mail supplier, which is more reliable. ??
I am also having this problem "550 550 relaying denied".
It's a complete pain and, although I contacted the help team by email, I have not even got an acknowledgment yet.
Extremely frustrating.
🙁
I have the same problem. I haven't received any mail for 4-5 days now. Thought it was because of x-mas but have made a test and received the 550 550 error.
Does anybody know if we will receive all the "lost"mails when the system (hopefully) is back in order?
Annette
Yep, it's happening AGAIN. This is so frustrating… Why can't Yahoo fix this???
Mail goes through 2 servers and one of them is causing the problem. So some mail gets through. A new feature this time around is that senders sometimes don't even get a message that their mail was blocked. Aarghhh…
Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.
Ditto here (yahoo.ie address). Problem for about 8-10 days now, contacted support about a week ago, no response. You'd think they'd post something, somewhere acknowledging the issue. I've lost shopping order e-mails, ebay mails, mails from work, mails from friends. People should jump ship to Gmail if this goes on any longer. Poor show by Yahoo.
Yes same for me again as one month ago.
A lot of incoming important mails disapair, and this time the sender
does not get a feedback sometimes.
Im tired of it.
To Bryant,
How could we trust your answer, when you gave the exactly same answer on the same day with different user ID – Consolata? Are you promoting this PC Health Boost?
